Today I learned something that really puts life into perspective: even if humans somehow manage to stick around for another 250 million years, we’ll face at least two monumental inconveniences.
First, there’s the reformation of Pangea 2.0—a supercontinent likely to recreate conditions that caused one of Earth’s most devastating mass extinctions. Think about it: oceans stagnating, massive volcanic activity, and most of the land becoming dry and uninhabitable. If we somehow survive that, the sun itself will be our next big hurdle. In about 500 million years, it will expand to the point where Earth will either be engulfed or rendered completely uninhabitable.
So, what does this mean? It means we need to get it together. #1: Live your life to the fullest. Be the best you can be. And #2: Plan for a better tomorrow. Humanity needs an escape plan, and trust me, 250 million years can pass in the blink of an eye!

But let’s bring it closer to home. “Getting it together” for me starts with making sure you’re financially secure. You can’t plan for the next 250 million years if you’re stressed about next week’s rent or the medical bill you didn’t see coming.
This is why I love what I do with LifeGuy Financial. Helping people fix their financial lives is my way of giving them the freedom to live life on their terms. In fact, I might test a new motto:
“Fix your financial life!”
It’s simple, straightforward, and speaks to what really matters—empowering you to handle life’s curveballs with confidence.
Or how about this one?
“Wherever life takes you—be ready!”
It’s adaptable, actionable, and honestly, it gives me the same vibes as prepping humanity for its eventual escape from Earth.

The bottom line is this: while humanity may have a lot of time before the sun swallows us whole, your time here is finite. Whether you’re thinking about retirement, protecting your loved ones, or just finding peace of mind, don’t wait. Start getting it together now.
Your life, on your terms.
After all, if we can dream of surviving another 250 million years, we can certainly plan for the next 25.
